1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using MakerHive, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Platform Services

MakerHive provides a marketplace platform connecting:

• 3D model designers who upload and license their designs
• Print service providers (vendors) who fulfill printing orders
• Customers who purchase prints

3. Intellectual Property

All 3D models uploaded to MakerHive remain the intellectual property of their creators. Models are protected by our IP protection system including:

• Digital fingerprinting and watermarking
• Encrypted G-code delivery to verified vendors only
• Usage tracking and royalty enforcement
• DMCA takedown procedures for infringement

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Payment Terms

All payments are processed through our secure payment partners. Platform fees include:

• Vendor commission: 14-20% based on tier
• Designer royalty: 3% platform fee
• B2B RFQ fee: 2%
• TDS as per applicable Indian tax laws

6. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes between customers and vendors, MakerHive provides a mediation service. Decisions are made based on provided evidence including order specifications, delivery photos, and communication records. Refunds and chargebacks are handled per our refund policy.

7. Vendor Responsibilities

Vendors must maintain quality standards, accurate delivery timelines, complete KYC verification, and comply with all applicable laws including GST registration where required.
